At the end of my Jet Blue flight the pilot announced that all their flights are carbon neutral via offsets. Not sure how much that's actually doing, but it was surprising to hear!
Certainly did - sad stuff. I talked to a sailing captain in SF who grew up in Salt Lake City. He said the docks are ghost yards now, entirely landlocked.

Josh and I tend to be pretty suspicious of claims like Jetblue's. I believe it's still better than nothing, but there's very little third-party oversight. Cleaner fuels, like hydrogen for ex, is the best shot for airlines I think
